Torteia
packaging design
Dina Food Industries, established in the year 1959, is one of the pioneers in the field of chips, potato snacks, and snacks in Iran.

Guidelines for new product packaging design were provided to Daarvag International advertising agency in 2017. The client requested to add a new SKU to the snack’s packaging; in addition, having a unique design from other competitors in the market was a crucial goal for the brand. We found, through market research, that most of the packaging in this market had a dynamic design style. We chose the opposite with minimal use of visual elements and bold, solid colors. The guidelines also stated that we should consider what consumers value in design. Consumers prefer to have a clear image of what they are purchasing and we felt that bold photography was the correct approach.

Informed by thorough market research, careful consideration of the client’s guidelines, and understanding the target audience, we presented our design proposal to the client. Dina Food Ind. with Daarvag International advertising agency’s help, launched these two new package designs that year.

logotype & layout

This project commenced with the inception of two flavors for this product. However, we found it imperative to progress the design of the logotype and primary layout in a manner that ensures future adaptability for upcoming flavors as well.
